This fantastic adventurous holiday offers horse riding to amazing Hag Black lake surrounding beautiful mountains. You journey on the real natural trails that the local people still use to this day, passing through amazing wilderness. Along the way you may spot some of the local inhabitants’ brown bears, moose, wolves and red deer. Bring your camera to capture it all. It is one of the most remarkable landscapes, with ecological oddities, the watersheds for several river systems such as Onon, Kherlen and Tuul rivers which are draining Eastward and to the Pacific Ocean and Northward to the Arctic Ocean. We will go further into the back country where no one roam. When the sun sets long shadows over the lake, a breeze filled with the sweet scent of mountain flowers may carry the lonely cry of a mountain wolf into camp.

DAY 1. Ulaanbaatar transfer to Terelj National Park
You will be transferred by mini-van to Terelj National Park. This 90 km transfer will take approximately 1.5 hours located right in the middle of the Khentii Mountain Range. Settle into your room at a traditional ger (yurt) tourist camp in Terelj. After lunch, riders are scheduled to have a briefing with our staff including riding guide who will lead your horse trekking and exercise short practice of riding.

DAY 2. Ride to Blue Stone River
After breakfast we will drive to meet our horses. We start our ride going upper Bayan river and we will have lunch here. Having some rest after lunch, we will ride across mixture of the forested valley and open steppe to the Blue Stone River. After adventurous full day horse ride, traditional gourmet dinner will be served and you can enjoy talking with your friends under deep blue night sky before sleeping.

DAY 3. Ride to Groove Hill through Zuu Spring Spa
The day will begin by continuing further east to the beautiful natural landscapes of the Khentii mountains. On our way we will ride through real natural beautiful landscape called as Zuu spring spa and have a lunch in here then head to Khonog Tolgoi (Groove Hill).

DAY 4. Ride to Hag Black Lake
Riders mount up, and ride the 24 kms to Hag Black Lake. The lake located in the center of beautiful mountains and has become a favourite of many of our riders. Forests and small rivers will offer you special feelings of escape and real moments in the saddle. Wildlife is commonly seen and photographed in this area. lunch will be along the Khongor River. By late afternoon we arrive at the Hag Black Lake which located at 1800 meters above sea level. If the weather cooperates and people want to try, we will swim.

DAY 5. Ride to upper Tuul River
Riding back to the Tuul River via Khongor River. This ride continues through the spectacular scenery of beautiful rivers with its crystal blue rivers and pristine forests. Night is spent camping in carefully chosen, pictures campsite by at a stream edge. Everything is carried on pack horses and camping is simple and easy. The terrain itself dictates different paces.

DAY 6. Ride to Bayan River
Wake up to a new day and after a hearty breakfast saddle and pack up the horses for another day of adventure. Riding in the mountains and streams of rivers enjoy the amazing views. Our destination is the upper Bayan River and here we make our camp for the night.

DAY 7. Ride to Terelj National Park
We ride through a forest and hills for 25 km before arriving at Terelj NP and enjoying a brief rest before completing the last miles of our journey.

DAY 8. Drive to UB
After breakfast drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Visit Bogd Khan Palace, shop Gobi cashmere shop before enjoying an evening concert of National Folklore. Overnight at the hotel.
