With its 4 islands, Khuvsgul Lake is Mongolia's largest and deepest lake and known as "Blue Pearl". The Lake area is surrounded by Forest Mountains and only Eg River flows out from the lake although total 111 rivers flow in Huvsgul lake. The lake is 136 km long, 36 km wide, 262 meters deep from its surface to the bottom and reserves over 2% of the world’s fresh water. The north-western part of Khuvsgul lake basin is a native place of reindeer people. The culture of these people have changed little and like many of Mongolia’s nomads, and particularly those in the north, shamanism plays an important role in their lives. fun things to do in the area is horseback riding, hiking, drive upper hills to see the lake from top view and visit local nomad families.
So far there are about more than 90 species of dinosaur fossils has founded from the Mongolian Gobi. You will travel through the amazing dinosaur birthplace of Bayanzag- the Flaming Cliffs. This spectacular discover is in the remote South Gobi of Mongolia, home to the rich dinosaur fossils reserve, the “Land of the Dinosaurs” is an area of great paleontological site, magnificent vistas and unique Gobi land formations.
It is also the home to endangered animals such as Snow Leopard, Asiatic Ibex, Asiatic wild ass, Gobi Bear and Bactrian camel. Here you are surrounded by exotic desert land formulations, guided and befriended by our guide and driver. Imagine being enveloped in the wild and mysterious Gobi desert, falling sleep in comfortable Ger Camp under the starry Gobi night sky, waking up the vast desert landscape where the dunes can rise to a staggering 200 metres above the valley floor with razor sharp edges that stand out against the bright blue sky.

DAY 1. ULAANBAATAR
On arrival you will be met by our representative, and then be privately transferred to your hotel in Ulaanbaatar. In the afternoon, after a lunch, you will enjoy a leisurely time of sightseeing around UB and visit to the Gandan Monastery and the National History Museum where presents our history and culture from prehistoric to the present day. Early evening after sightseeing program, we invite you a welcome dinner at a restaurant.

DAY 2. KUVSGUL LAKE
After breakfast you'll be driven to UB Airport where you'll catch a domestic airplane bound for Khuvsgul province where the lake is located. On arrival you'll be driven to your Ger camp, a journey of about 1 hour. After a lunch at the camp, you take 1 hour rest and later you can enjoy your new surroundings. You can venture out on foot with your guide for an initial glimpse of the lake's varied landscapes with its flora and fauna.

DAY 3. KUVSGUL LAKE
This morning you can walk and a gentle boat trip, both excellent ways to get close to the natural environment. After a lunch, we can visit to Tsaatan (reindeer people) family, to explore their daily life and customs. Today we will ride a horse around lake and take photos of varied natures of the lake

DAY 4. ULAANBAATAR
Transferred to the airport for the flight to Ulaanbaatar. Met on arrival and transferred to a hotel, in the heart of the UB, without doubt the most vibrant and interesting part of the capital. You will have the afternoon to relax in the hotel, catch up on Gobi cashmere outlet shopping before your flight South Gobi the following day.

DAY 5.EAGLE'S VALLEY, SOUTH GOBI PROVINCE
The day begins at sunrise with a breakfast at hotel and you will be transferred to the airport, fly to Dalanzadgad which is a center of the South Gobi Province. Upon the arrival, we will drive to Eagle's Valley which is deep and narrow gorge in the Gurvan Saikhan National Park. Although this area is considered as hot and dry desert, the Eagle's Valley is notable for a deep ice field remaining frozen for most all around year. By hiking through the valley, you can encounter wild sheep and goat grazing on the cliff walls.

DAY 6. KHONGOR SAND DUNES
Today after breakfast and you set off west to Khongor Sand Dunes. It's a long way (about 4-5 hours), but you'll be able to break the journey and stretch your legs on the way. The sand dunes are vast desert landscape where rise to a staggering 200 metres above the valley floor with razor sharp edges and extend over an area between 2-20 km in width and 180 km in length. Before sun sets, we'll climb up to the highest dunes and see surrounding desert landscape. Back at a ger camp, we'll have a dinner and enjoy listening sound of singing dunes which is generated by Gobi wind before you're sleeping.

DAY 7. KHONGOR SAND DUNES
We spend another day around Khongor sand dunes, enjoying a full day exploring and relaxing in surrounding nature near the dunes. Today we will visit to herder family and experience the way of nomadic lifestyle. You'll have an opportunity to ride camel. Mongolian camel is considered as Bactrian camel has two humps and very comfortable to ride. In the evening, enjoy your dinner to end another rewarding day.

DAY 8. BAYANZAG (FLAMING CLIFFS)
Today after a breakfast our drive will take you to the Bayanzag province which is named as a birthplace of dinosaurs. It takes over 4 hours driving. Bayanzag is known as a Flaming Cliffs where the first nest of dinosaur eggs found in 1922 by an American expedition of Roy Chapman Andrews. The place is named as Flaming Cliffs red coloured cliffs themselves are very imposing from a distance, and are particularly fiery in the light of the setting sun. Today you have great chance to explore through one of the world’s most famous paleontological sites. We return to the site just in time for dinner, and our third overnight in the South Gobi.

DAY 9. TERELJ NATIONAL PARK, ULAANBAATAR
Today, after early breakfast, you have a drive of about a half hour, taking you to Dalanzadgad airport. Upon arrival in UB we transfer you to Terelj National Park where you'll spend another night. The park is located right in the middle of the Khentii Mountain Range. Settle into your room at a traditional Ger (yurt) tourist camp in Terelj. After a lunch, we'll visit to a local nomadic family and experience traditional dairy products and horse ride (optional) to interesting natural rock formulation named as a Turtle Rock. Family style dinner served in the evening.

DAY 10. ULAANBAATAR
This morning you'll head to UB and on the way you'll visit the statue of Genghis Khan which is currently the biggest equestrian statue in the world. Here we may spend approx 2 hours after that toward to the capital city. After a lunch, you should also have time to shop an antique shopping. Before a farewell dinner, in the early evening, you'll attend traditional folk art performance.
